This Notice outlines and informs you of Pag-IBIG Fund’s policies in collecting, processing, recording, organizing, updating, using, consolidating and destructing its members’ data in the course of usage of the Pag-IBIG Fund Virtual Branch.
Pag-IBIG Fund recognizes its responsibilities under Republic Act No. 10173 (Act), otherwise known as the Data Privacy Act of 2012, with respect to the personal data it collects, processes, records, organizes, updates, uses, consolidates or destructs from its members. Thus, Pag-IBIG Fund is committed to securing and protecting your personal data. Members can be assured that personal data collected by Pag-IBIG Fund shall be used only in accordance with this Notice, the Pag-IBIG Fund Privacy Notice, and the Act.
Once you have enrolled your account with Pag-IBIG Fund’s Virtual Branch as a condition of use, you may conveniently access your accounts through Pag-IBIG Fund’s Virtual Branch.
By using this site and availing of our services, you agree to the collection and use of your personal data in accordance with this Notice and the Pag-IBIG Fund Privacy Notice.
1. Data to be collected
When enrolling an account with the Pag-IBIG Fund Virtual Branch or availing of any of the services therein, the following personal information may be collected, to wit:
a. Name and personal particulars (e.g. contact details, address, birthdate);
b. Government ID details (e.g. Passport No., Driver’s License No., SSS ID No., GSIS ID No., PhilHealth ID No., TIN, Postal ID No., Voter’s ID No., PRC ID No., Senior Citizen ID No., OFW ID No.);
c. Employment Details;
d. Images via Video Chat or via file upload and other similar recording devices and processes which may be observed when using our online service facilities;
e. Voice recordings of our conversations with you; and
f. Other information relevant to your transaction with Pag-IBIG Fund.
While using Pag-IBIG Fund’s Virtual Branch, we may collect non-personal information such as those provided by your device which may include the IP address, operating system, browser type and version, and other machine identifiers. When you use location-based services of Pag-IBIG Fund’s Virtual Branch such as Pag-IBIG branch or Collection partner locators, you consent to Pag-IBIG Fund’s tracking of your location. Personal information collected through the Pag-IBIG Fund Virtual Branch System shall only be used for the following purposes:
a. Approve, facilitate, administer and process applications and transactions;
b. Respond to queries, requests and complaints and improve how we interact with you;
c. Send statements, billings, notices and other such documents necessary for continued use of our products and services;
d. Conduct studies and researches for the purpose of reviewing, developing and improving our products and services;
e. Perform profile analysis, behavioral modeling and analytics to understand needs, preferences and market trends to be able to improve and recommend suitable products and services;
f. Market our products and services, including offers, promotions, discounts, rewards; and for personalizing your experience with our various touchpoints such as branches, call center, telemarketing, email, messaging and other channels;
g. Determine the effectiveness of our marketing efforts and initiatives;
h. Provide location-based services such as finding the Pag-IBIG branch nearest to you; and
i. Perform certain protective safeguards against improper use or abuse of our product and services including fraud prevention.
4. Sharing of information
Personal information collected through the Pag-IBIG Fund Virtual Branch System may be shared with third parties engaged by Pag-IBIG Fund to assist it in delivering its products and services to its members.
